In Lockdown I got to make these delicious Donuts with my Sister-In-Law and her best friend, I got to have some Strawberries when we finished making the strawberry & cream donuts! It was really fun making them, I had a really good time.

Harakeke
How to weave a tīwaiwaka!
Purpose: We are learning how to weave tīwaiwaka for decorations or to give to a friend or family member
Equipment: Flax, Staple, Googly eyes, and Scissors
Steps on how to make
Step 1: Use a staple to secure the tail of your tīwaiwaka/fantail.
Step 2: Trim the outer 2 strips to form your wings, then trim the 3 tail feathers to the desired length.
Step 3: Crease the beak strip down and trim to a triangular shape.
Step 4: Use your thumb to split the tail and create feathers, then add googly eyes and then you're done!
